This menu includes starting pricing for our services. All of our services are bespoke to you to help you look and feel your best. If you are uncertain of what services are best for you, please enjoy a complimentary consultation with one of our talented stylists.

 

Policies

Salon

We're in the business of helping you to look and feel your BEST! In order to do so, and to run a productive and successful salon, we thought it was time to loop you in on our company policies!

Appointments
Effective October 9th 2018, we will require a credit card on file for all new clients. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking however, if you "no show" your appointment or fail to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. All existing Mae Clients will not be asked for credit card information unless he/she fails to show for a scheduled appointment after October 9th. 
"No shows" will be charged 100% of their scheduled service. Please, also, be aware that if you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the service for which you have been scheduled for and a cancellation fee will apply. As an appointment-based business, we appreciate your understanding and support of this company policy.


Payment Types
We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Salon gift cards are also accepted for both services and retail.
 
Refunds
We have a 30-day exchange policy. If you’re not completely satisfied with your product, we will happily provide a full refund within 7 days with receipt or, exchange it with receipt within the 30-day window.  If you received a service that you are not happy with, please let us know within 7 days and we will try to re-book your correction within the first week, so we can make it right. 
 
Pets 
We would like to remind everyone that pets of any kind, other than service animals, are NOT allowed in the salon. The State Board of Cosmetology and The Board of Consumer Affairs have specific Rules and Regulations stating that NO animals of any kind are to be permitted in the salon at any time. Service dogs with the official "Service Animal" vests are the ONLY exception. Therapy dogs, emotional support dogs and/or companion dogs are not recognized as “Service Animals” according to The Board of Consumer Affairs. We invite you to speak with us about any questions or concerns regarding this state law.

Child Safety Policies
We LOVE family and children but, our space is not child-proof. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, please make sure to schedule child-care prior to your appointment.  If this is not possible, we reserve the right to reschedule your service in order to maintain the safety of your child.
 
Cell Phones
We like to think of The Mae Salon as a haven for our clients to relax. We kindly ask that you try not to use your cell phone. However, if you need to take a quick call, please be considerate of those around you who are enjoying their service.
We also ask that while your stylist is working with you, you do not use your cell phone. It makes it difficult for us to do our job to our standards.
 
Extension Services
In consideration of the hair care services to be performed are hair extensions, which may include, but not limited to extensions, cutting, styling, straightening, relaxing, permanent waving, hair coloring, application of heat by irons, wands, dryers and product testing, acknowledge that the procedures I am about to receive is a commitment to maintain. I understand that to maintain my desired style and keep the integrity of my hair, I will need to come into the salon every 6 weeks for maintenance. The Mae Salon and/or stylist will not be held responsible for any damage, loss of hair or extensions.
All appointments will be charged in full.
I also acknowledge that all work is being done by hair care professionals and at the discretion of the professional. I agree not to hold The Mae Salon, their representatives, employees, agents or their authorized distributorships responsible for any adverse effect or for less than desired results.
The purchase of hair extensions is non-refundable. All sales are final.
 
Color Corrections
In consideration of the hair care services to be performed are hair extensions, which may include, but not limited to extensions, cutting, styling, straightening, relaxing, permanent waving, hair coloring, application of heat by irons, wands, dryers and product testing, acknowledge that the procedures I am about to receive is a commitment to maintain. I understand that I may need to come in for multiple appointments to achieve/maintain my hair cut/color. All appointments will be charged in full.
I also acknowledge that all work is being done by hair care professionals and at the discretion of the professional. I agree not to hold The Mae Salon, their representatives, employees, agents or their authorized distributorships responsible for any adverse effect or for less than desired results.
I understand that I am required to submit a $50 non-refundable deposit for any appointments booked for 4 hours or more. The $50 will be applied to my service on the day of my original appointment. If I reschedule my original appointment for any reason I will lose my $50 deposit and will be required to put down an additional $50 for every appointment over 4 hours

 24 hour cancellation / no show policy:
If there is an appointment cancellation within 24 hours or a ‘no show’, we will require a credit card to be kept on file and no longer allow online booking. If another ‘no show’ or cancellation within 24 hours occurs, you will be charged for the scheduled service. As an appointment based business, we appreciate your understanding of why such a policy must be in place.
