We are SO EXCITED to be re-opening Monday, June 1st!!! (Yaaaayy!! *Cue the trumpets*!)

As you know, the health and well being of our team and community is our #1 priority! There are state mandated safety measures and protocols that we must adhere to. Our goal is to provide extraordinary service while keeping our staff and clients healthy!

 

Upon arriving for your appointment please note: (We cannot wait to see you!!!)

 

  • 6ft social distancing with exception of you and your service provider.

 

  • Please stay home if you are feeling sick.

 

  • If your appointment needs to be cancelled - for non-medically related reasons - we kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee. We understand there may be some health cases where this may not be possible. We desire to keep the salon as safe as possible while also respecting our stylists’ schedules so they do not miss out on opportunities to serve other guests on our waitlist.

 

  • Contactless checkout: To limit contact we will not be accepting cash or check payments. 

    • For a contact free checkout, you can add your credit card information to our secure site with your online booking profile, or notify us and we can add that for you over the phone!

    • If you’d so graciously like to extend cash gratuity to your stylist, please bring it with you in a secure envelope, with their name written on it, to hand directly to them.

 

  • MASKS: All of our team members will be wearing protective face coverings at all times. All Clients are required to wear protective face coverings at all times. Client face covering must follow the guidelines below:

    • Loop around the ear (we cannot perform services if the mask has a strap that goes behind your head.)

    • Disposable: Unfortunately, your mask WILL get wet and WILL be stained with haircolor.

 

  • All waiting areas are partially closed. The following steps will be taken to begin your services:

    • Please call the salon when you arrive. 317-602-3740

    • We will guide you on whether to enter immediately, or wait in your vehicle until your stylist is ready for you.

 

  • Please arrive alone. No guests are permitted to enter the salon with you. This includes anyone of any age and all pets (excluding service dogs).

 

  • If you'd like, we can accommodate color/highlight only services, you will leave with damp hair.

 

  • Our team has been provided with additional training on sanitation and disinfecting practices and Barbicide Certification for overall safety.

 

  • You will see us sanitizing and disinfecting after each guest and high-touch areas every 15-30 minutes.

 

  • Capes used for clients will be laundered and disinfected before every use.

 

  • The following have been temporarily suspended:

    • Beverage service. You may bring a beverage with you; however, it is not recommended based on the mandate to wear a mask at all times.

    • Magazines have been removed.

    • Smocks. Please wear clothes that do not need additional protection, besides a cape and towel around the neck, while receiving services (especially color services). We will do our best to protect your clothes. The Mae is not liable for stained clothes.

 

  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the salon. Touchless soap is provided in the bathroom. Please wash hands often.

 

  • All personal belongings must remain in your lap during the entire service.

 

  • Please leave all coats/jackets in your car.

 

  • We love you! Please no hugs, no handshakes, no kisses. (We know the feelings are mutual.)

 

We will continue to watch the CDC and state guidelines on any additional safety measures and announcements!

 24 hour cancellation / no show policy:
If there is an appointment cancellation within 24 hours or a ‘no show’, we will require a credit card to be kept on file and no longer allow online booking. If another ‘no show’ or cancellation within 24 hours occurs, you will be charged for the scheduled service. As an appointment based business, we appreciate your understanding of why such a policy must be in place.
